A collection of film music covers, Big Yum Yum is a joint project by Fabio Viscogliosi, Sylvain Koelsch, and seven child musicians in training. Somewhere between the Langley School Music Project, instrumental Art Brut, and Pascal Comelade, this unique and utterly singular experiment revives memories of memorable themes with the slightest touch, reducing the melodic lines to their essence, to their bare bones. It's an art of cover versions that gives pride of place to the imagination.

“These recordings took place from January to June 1995. We used an 8 tracks Fostex analogue tape recorder with a microphone AKG C1000 S. As a matter of fact, the effects were frequently missing or intentionally exagerated. Let's emphasise on the fact that young musicians performed on most of the ten themes released, swelling for the occasion the rankof the Big Yum Yum.” (F. Viscogliosi)
