Gaétan Nonchalant

After his first EP "Tout ça pour ça" released in 2020, Gaétan Nonchalant announces his debut album to be released in September 2023. Composed between 2016 and 2020, the 11 tracks were recorded all over France in magnificent analog studios (Robin Leduc, Alexis Fugain, Astrobal) and at home with the comfort of a 4-track cassette. In his songs, sometimes recorded live with the band, sometimes alone in front of his microphone, one always senses the will and absolute devotion to create something intimate and organic.

From 70's psychedelic rock to 90's electric guitar sounds, with detours into folk music, Gaétan Nonchalant's debut album bears witness to the vitality of this new generation of indie pop music in France.

Mixed and mastered by Jake Viator (Connan Mockasin, Mild High Club, Caroll Kirby), sound engineer for the legendary Stone Throw label, the album confirms the Frenchman's expertise in crafting songs that evoke profound subjects in a light-hearted way.
